This is a simple wireless network backhauling a 5Mbps DSL connection. I've implemented some pretty nifty features though:

Traffic shaping and
High-availability Internet connectivity among three ISP's; the secondary ISP is a fail-over peer. I provide fail-over for them as well.

Using sophisticated, modern computer technology, I present the network topology:

maxwell - server location * 6KM / \ 3KM <=== Mahon link Rockhurst / \ link ====> / mahon / / rockhurst

This is a point-to-point link between the two radios labeled rockhurst and maxwell:

Primary DSL connection
6KM link using 5.8 GHz radios
Prior to 1/12/2006, afternoon, a pair of 22dBi grid antennas. Next, a 22dBi at rockhurst and a 29dBi parabolic dish at maxwell. Now, around the second week in April, both points are using 29dBi parabolic antennas.
